If you want to do something
about your mess,
you
may have to change
what you confess.

When you speak the Word of God with real faith,
mountains move, fig trees die and demons cry!
Shigamo-shy!
"Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it." Ps 127:1
There are many scriptures in the Word that compare our life as a believer to that of a building’s construction:
"You are God’s building….as a wise master I have laid the foundation." I Cor. 3: 9 – 10
"I commend you…to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up…."
Acts 20:32
Each time we go to a prison we are taking the Word. His Word becomes a building block in the lives of these men and women. We are making a difference…
One of the blessings of this ministry is working alongside others that God has called to do this same construction work. We have an awesome team of volunteers that go with us to prisons. They not only encourage and minister to the inmates, but they encourage us as well. We thank God for each of them.
People who merely "like what they do"
will often bring excuses custom-made for you;
but those whose passion is legitimately great,
somehow very seldom show up late.
People will do what they are motivated to
and offer up excuses for the remaining few!
The bacon & egg breakfast shows that
the chicken made a contribution,
but the pig had to be committed.

25:21
Some people are called,
and called people go-
rain, sleet or snow.
The level of a person’s
commitment
is based upon their motivation.
Motivation is a by-product of
passion.
Passion is an overwhelming desire for the cause.
The cause produces a
purpose-driven life.
A purpose-driven life produces
the highest level of
commitment.

When circumstances threaten
to turn out your
light
remember the determination
of the Shunammite.
Your circumstances are
sometimes strange
and subject to arrange,
but the Word of God
will never
change.
